Recently, I’ve heard a number of references in our community to not understanding baseball stats. This leads me to conclude it’s time to put finger to keyboard and do my best to explain some of the secrets behind baseball statistics – at least those stats we track.

Here at The Rev’s Team, we only have the capacity to track^* some of the basic baseball statistics. We definitely stick to the pre “Analytics” era stats.
